Baptismal certificates are commonly needed when preparing for later sacraments like confirmation or marriage. If you were baptized at St. Mel Parish and need a baptismal certificate, contact us the Parish Office with your name and approximate year of baptism. Note that we will only issues baptismal certificates to the person baptized, to their parents or legal guardian if they are a minor, or to other Catholic parishes or institutions. The baptismal certificate will have notation of any later sacraments received here or even at other parishes, if we were given notification of their reception.
